IP Migration Software and Services


IN2FAB's has established itself as a leading specialist in schematic and layout migration.  From legacy database translation and schematic porting to the complex process of translating mixed-signal layout between process nodes and foundries, IN2FAB's tools and services have completed hundreds of tape outs across a broad range of foundries and process nodes.


OSIRIS migration software is fully integrated with the Cadence Virtuoso design framework to ensure complete compatibility with design databases and foundry PDK technology.  OSIRIS analyzes, manages and transfers schematic and layout data at component level, building a migrated database using circuit elements drawn directly from a fully qualified foundry PDK. 


Migration services allow customers to take advantage of IN2FAB's dedicated migration team to deliver turnkey migrated silicon.  Handing the entire project to a specialist group, leaving their engineers free to work on their next generation of products.

Process Design Kit (PDK) Security


Failing to secure Process Design Kits (PDKs) exposes semiconductor companies to incalculable losses through IP theft.  Unauthorized access to this data can lead to reverse engineering of circuit and component details, leading to a loss of technical leadership and product revenue.


At a broader level, inadequate PDK security poses national security risks, as adversarial nations or cybercriminals could exploit unsecured data to sabotage critical infrastructure or bypass export controls.


IN2FAB's Secure PDK software protects Process Design Kits from theft and exploitation by locking them with industry-standard license software. Secure PDK is fully compatible with all Skill based Parameterized cells (Pcells) and allows PDK developers to lock their IP by time, feature and number of users.

 

Secure PDK supports standard EDA license installations for single servers and distributed and cloud networks, allowing access restrictions to be added to existing PDK code with the minimum of overhead for developers and EDA managers alike.
